The MH-1 is the flagship device of LLI’s Modular line of night vision systems, serving as the primary binocular within the LLI ecosystem. This binocular is feature-rich, including a dual-mode IR illuminator, manual gain control, and smooth, intuitive controls, all wrapped in a lightweight magnesium-alloy housing.

The MH-1 shares the same pod design (tube and lens housing, excluding the battery compartment) as the MH-14. This means that each MH-1 pod can function as a standalone monocular. This modular approach makes the device highly versatile—ideal for users who may wish to pair it with a thermal monocular on occasion, while still having the ability to run a fully equipped binocular setup when needed.

The LLI ecosystem will also feature modular battery compartments, pods, and arm designs, allowing users to customize and configure their binocular to meet any operational requirement.

Optics

Commercial Grade: Our commercial specification optics, used in all our starter kits, are Singaporean-made and compatible with all standard PVS-14 threaded accessories. These lenses do not meet the same MIL-PRF-A3256342A standard as Noctis/Fuji lenses but deliver similar performance across the board. They may produce a slightly less contrast-heavy image but offer an excellent performance-to-price ratio, providing a clear and sharp image that lets the image intensifier’s resolution speak for itself.

Noctis Technologies: The Noctis Tech/Fuji PVS-14 optics are the gold standard for balanced night vision optics in the modern market. Compatible with practically any current or upcoming goggle or monocular, these lenses deliver outstanding light transmission, exceed MIL-PRF-A3256342A standards, and provide a razor-sharp image while minimizing light flare and distortion. These are the lenses with the deep blue hue we all know and recognize.

RPO NVD NextGen+3.0: The Rochester Precision Optics (RPO) NVD NextGen Eyepiece, paired with the RPO 3.0 Lightweight Objective, is the latest and greatest option for anyone looking to step into a premium lightweight optic setup. The NextGen Eyepiece features a wider output lens, providing longer eye relief and a larger eyebox—giving the user more freedom to maintain a clear image while moving or using a panning bridge. This combination delivers an average 30% weight savings in the lens system itself.

Image Intensifier

The image intensifier tubes used in all our systems feature autogating and come in green or white phospore with different specifications and price ranges, allowing anyone to customize their device to their needs.
