SHIPPING AND LEAD TIME
If You Are Canada-Based: Your order will be fulfilled within 1 to 3 weeks with no additional taxes or fees applied, as all applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Once you purchase any night vision device, you will receive an automatic email from us requesting additional information. You can ignore this email if you are Canada-based, as it is intended for EU and Asia customers.
If You Are US-Based: Your order will be fulfilled within 1 to 3 weeks. Additional taxes or fees may apply, as import duties and tariffs can vary depending on the product. Be sure to research your state’s import taxes for this type of product to understand all applicable duties.None of these import related fees will be visible at Checkout

If You Are EU/Asia-Based: Your order will be fulfilled within 2 to 4 weeks due to the export permit process that we must comply with. Once you purchase any night vision device, you will receive an automatic email from us. Please read it carefully and complete the requested form. Additional taxes or fees may apply, including import duties and VAT, depending on your country. Be sure to research your country’s import taxes for this type of product to understand all applicable fees. None of these import related fees will be visible at Checkout

Returns
Northern Lights Instruments accepts returns of unused, undamaged goods within 30 days of receipt by the customer. If you are currently in such a situaiton please contact us as soon as possible to ensure this process is taken care of.
If, by misfortune, the product does not meet your expectations and is fully functional during this period, we will request that the item be returned. Once our team receives the item(s), a refund will be issued.
Depending on the item, its condition, and the duration of ownership beyond the 30-day guaranteed return period, Northern Lights Instruments Inc. reserves the right to decline the return or apply a restocking fee equivalent to 15% of the total order cost if the customer wishes to return the item.
Cancelation
If your order has not yet shipped, please contact us as soon as possible to modify or cancel your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Some order cancellation may result in a Restocking fee (Equivalent to 15% of the total cost of the order).
Warranty
All products sold at www.northernlightsinstruments.com are covered by manufacturer warranties. We also offer the NLI Lifetime Warranty Program for all labor-related work, including maintenance, assembly, and cleaning of night vision devices.

Considering the composition of night vision devices, including housing, lenses, image intensifier tubes, and assembly, each component is manufactured by a different company and comes with its own warranty. Below, we have listed all components along with their specific warranty periods.

NLI lifetime warranty program:
The NLI Lifetime Warranty Program applies to all night vision devices and services offered by Northern Lights Instruments, including maintenance or assembly. Any work performed under this program is covered for life, meaning that if any of our work fails under normal conditions, it will be warranted under this program.
In the event of a claim, the device must be inspected to determine the cause of the labor-related issue. One of our specialists will then assess any necessary corrections. It is important to note that any disassembly of night vision, thermal, or other devices by the customer will void all warranties, including the manufacturer’s. If the issue is determined to be caused by our work, we will cover all necessary repairs once the device has been inspected by our specialist.
