The Ares 384 Pro Thermal Monocular is a modular, entry-level thermal imaging device designed for handheld, helmet-mounted, or weapon-mounted use. Lightweight, rugged, and feature-rich, it delivers reliable thermal performance for surveillance, observation, and outdoor applications.

Built around a 384 × 288 thermal sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch, the Ares 384 Pro provides clear thermal imagery through a high-resolution 1024 × 768 display. A fast 50 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth image rendering, while 1×–4× digital magnification allows flexible target identification at various distances.

Optical & Imaging Performance

The 25 mm F1.0 objective lens delivers a wide field of view of 17.2° × 13.7°, with a focusing range from 1 m to infinity. Adjustable diopter settings from –4 SD to +4 SD ensure a comfortable viewing experience for a wide range of users. The exit pupil diameter of ≥ 6 mm supports handheld, head-mounted, and weapon-mounted use, increasing to 15 mm in clip-on configuration.

Power & Connectivity

Powered by a single rechargeable 18650 battery, the Ares 384 Pro offers 6+ hours of continuous operation at 25 °C. Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable easy recording and wireless transfer of images and videos. The USB Type-C port supports mobile storage and software upgrades.

Rugged & Reliable Design

Designed for demanding environments, the Ares 384 Pro operates in temperatures ranging from –20 °C to +50 °C and can be safely stored between –30 °C and +70 °C. The device is rated IP67 for protection against dust and water and withstands impacts up to 1000 G (original bracket). With a total weight of approximately 464 g including rail mount, it remains compact and easy to deploy.
